As General Manager, you will play a crucial role in the launch and ongoing success of our second site in Birmingham. You’ll be responsible for leading the daily operations, managing the team, and maintaining the high standards of service and food quality that Maneki Ramen is known for. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our brand, ensuring we deliver an unforgettable ramen experience in a new location.

    • Oversee the daily operations of the Birmingham site, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

    • Lead, inspire, and develop a passionate team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

    • Maintain and enforce high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.

    • Implement training programs to ensure all staff are well-equipped with knowledge about the menu and brand ethos.

    • Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to maintain high-quality ingredients at all times.

    • Ensure the restaurant operates within budget and meets financial targets.

    • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

    • Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

    • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or similar environment.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team to success.

    • A passion for Japanese food and culture, with a desire to bring fresh, exciting dining experiences to customers.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Experience with financials, budgets, and P&L management is a plus.

    • A competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000, including tips and service charge.
